Japanese Era Calendar (令和/平成/昭和/大正)
Many Japanese statements use the Japanese era calendar (令和/平成/昭和/大正), where years are counted from the start of each imperial era rather than the Gregorian calendar. We automatically convert all dates to the standard Gregorian calendar.
