What You Can Ask ChatGPT

Convert

Convert a statement

"Convert this month's statement into a spreadsheet I can send my accountant."

Analyze

Analyze spending

"What were my top 5 spending categories last quarter, and how much did I spend on each?"

Reconcile

Reconcile statements

"Do my checking and savings statements have any missing periods or balance gaps?"

What ChatGPT can and can't do here

  • Bankstatemently never connects to your bank account. You upload a PDF or point ChatGPT at one; nothing is pulled automatically.
  • Bankstatemently never moves money. It reads and structures statement data; it can't initiate a transfer or payment.
  • ChatGPT only sees the structured data it asks for, transactions, balances, account details, never the raw statement file beyond what a question needs.
  • Disconnect the connector anytime from ChatGPT's Apps & Connectors settings. Your document retention follows your Bankstatemently plan, same as any upload.

Connecting the MCP server is free. Processing a statement costs 1 credit per page, and the free plan includes daily credits to try it. See pricing
