This document is written in English. The English version governs in the event of any conflict with a translation.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bankstatemently and its related tools (the "Service"), operated by Uncommon Goods Lab Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of Service
Our tools are provided to help convert and process uploaded documents. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to upload and process documents using the Service, including where you act on behalf of another person or organization. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. No Financial Advice
Important: We provide software tools only. We do not provide financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. Any outputs should be independently verified before use.
3. Accounts & Payment
- You must provide accurate account and payment information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Fees are non-refundable unless required by law
- You may not create multiple accounts or use temporary/disposable email addresses to circumvent free plan limits or pricing
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and revoke access where we detect abuse or attempts to bypass usage limits
- You may not use the Service to provide services to third parties, including as part of a hosted, embedded, or white-labeled solution, without our prior written approval. Such use may require a separate agreement or commercial terms
4. Data & Privacy
By using the Service, you agree that we may process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By uploading documents to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process those documents solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials on the site are owned by Uncommon Goods Lab Pte. Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that outputs are complete, accurate, or error-free. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service and may modify or discontinue it at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. We encourage parties to attempt to resolve disputes informally before initiating formal proceedings.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings: go to Manage account → Security and click Delete account. Data handling following account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, abuse, or other legitimate reasons, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Uncommon Goods Lab Pte. Ltd. regarding the Service.
