Credits are our universal currency. 1 credit = 1 page processed OR 1 chat message. You can convert bank statement PDFs or ask questions about uploaded statements using AI chat.

How much does AI categorization cost?

AI categorization is charged per page, pooled across every uncached document in the same request: 5 pages = 1 credit, rounded up across the whole batch. Minimum 1 credit per charge. You're only ever charged once per document — re-categorizing later is free. You're always shown the cost and asked to confirm before it's charged.

How does the credit pack work?

Credit packs are one-time purchases of 50 credits valid for 30 days. You can buy multiple packs. They work alongside free or subscription credits. All credits consumed FIFO (oldest expiring first). Free plan: free credits won't renew while paid credit pack credits remain. Upload limit doubles from 5 to 10 pages per upload while credit pack is active.

What happens if I upgrade my subscription?

All upgrades take effect immediately. Free→Paid: Get full plan credits instantly. Paid→Paid: Get prorated credits (new-old)×(days remaining in current month/total days in current month) based on monthly credit renewal cycle. Monthly→Yearly: Switch to annual billing, credits still renew monthly. Old credits remain until expiry. Credits consumed FIFO.

What happens if I downgrade my subscription?

Downgrades are scheduled for end of current billing period. You keep your current plan and credits until renewal, then automatically switch to the lower plan. Unused credits do not carry over - they renew monthly regardless of billing cycle.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

When you cancel, you keep full access to your plan and all remaining credits until your subscription ends. Credits continue to renew monthly until that date. After your subscription ends, you revert to the free plan. No refunds for unused time or credits.

Is document history retroactive?

Accepted Answer

No, document history is not retroactive. Only documents uploaded after upgrading appear in your history. File contents are deleted after 24 hours on the free plan; only the document list persists. Processed data (CSV, Excel, etc.) is always available to download immediately after processing.

No, credits do not roll over. Free plan: 10 credits renewed every 30 days, with a 5/day spend cap. Monthly subscriptions: Credits renew monthly. Yearly subscriptions: Credits renew monthly (not yearly) even though you pay annually. Credit packs: Valid for 30 days.
