Visual Debit/Credit Split in Single Column

ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ statements have a single "Debit/Credit" column header, but debits and credits are visually separated within it — debits sit on the left and credits on the right. Standard extractors see one column and cannot determine the transaction direction. We split the column based on position and correctly assign each amount as a debit or credit.

Phantom Balance Rows on Every Page

The bank's statements repeat "Balance brought forward" and "Balance carried forward" rows on every page. Without filtering, these appear as phantom transactions in your export, inflating your transaction count. We remove them automatically.

Separate Credit & Debit Columns

SCB statements use separate Credit and Debit columns in some formats, while others use a single Amount column with signs. Treating one layout like the other leads to wrong amounts or flipped signs. We automatically detect which layout is used and normalize the output.

Inconsistent Date Formats

These statements use different date formats within the same document (e.g., "30 Jun 2025" for statement dates and "15/03/2025" for transactions), which can cause date parsing errors or silent misinterpretation. We normalize all dates to a consistent format automatically.

Zero-Value Fee & Interest Lines

Siam Commercial Bank statements include $0.00 rows for interest charges, fees, and adjustments that had no activity that period. These look like real transactions but carry no value, cluttering your export and inflating row counts. We detect and remove them automatically.
