Currency Symbols Breaking Numeric Parsing
Many statements embed currency symbols (e.g., "$1,234.56") directly in amount cells, which breaks numeric parsing in Excel and most CSV importers. We strip these symbols so amounts import as clean numbers.

Currency Only Shown in Column Header
Many statements display the currency symbol only in the column header, not with each amount. We track the currency context throughout the statement to ensure all amounts are properly labeled with the correct currency.
